Olde Towne East Neighborhood Association

Fostering community in our unique and diverse historic neighborhood.

About OTENA

The Olde Towne East Neighborhood Association was established to promote the mutual good and prosperity of our neighborhood. As an organization, we serve a variety of functions.

  • We develop and present to the community educational materials and events about the historic aspects and historic preservation initiatives.

  • We help identify the needs of the neighborhood and advocate for policies that meet those needs.

  • We encourage civic pride, engagement, and improvement through community events and initiatives.

  • We promote the theory and practice of the principles of good government, good business, and good citizenship.

  • We promote and aid in the general improvement of homes, business establishments, parks, and recreation centers in the area.

Mission

Our mission is to affiliate residents, businesses and property owners; encourage civic pride and improvement; promote and aid in the general improvement of homes and businesses; and to foster commercial, social, physical and moral development in the community.

Vision

Our vision in Olde Towne East is to celebrate a community of people of various talents, ethnic histories and abilities. We see a neighborhood where people walk safely, visit and take pride in their surroundings. We see thriving businesses, well kept homes and apartments with proud residents.
