Two East Side Buildings Finalists for Urban Design Award

The Columbus Landmarks Foundation has announced five finalists for the James B. Recchie Design Award, two of which are located on the city’s near east side – East High School on Broad Street and the Lincoln Theatre on Long Street.

According to the Columbus Landmarks Foundation website, the James B. Recchie Design Award “honors excellence in urban design that can be reflected in historic or new buildings and places, additions to existing buildings, parks, public spaces and public art.”

The awards program will be held Thursday, October 13 at Franklin Park Conservatory. Click to purchase tickets.
