The Columbus Dispatch reported on the Summer Tour of Historic Homes in the June 29th issue, which featured the gardens of Gary Ross, James Arter, as well as Robert Pilarski and Chet Domitz.
In the article, reporter Leah Wynalek writes of Ross’s backyard oasis: “The fragments of Columbus history were gathered by Ross, 70, a sculpture professor at Capital who is sharing his charmed backyard during the Summer Tour of Historic Homes next Sunday in the Olde Towne East neighborhood.”
“‘I thought they were beautiful objects,’ Ross said, ‘and I hated to see them destroyed.’”
Sentiments I think all of us in Olde Towne East can agree with.
