Tickets for the 2012 Summer Tour of Historic Homes are now on sale.
2012 marks the 30th year that the Olde Towne East Neighborhood Association has held an annual home and garden tour in the neighborhood. The tour is the Association’s premier fundraising and public relations event. The funds raised during the tour are used year-round to help preserve, promote, and protect the irreplaceable history of Columbus’ historic Olde Towne East.
This year’s tour will feature 12 homes in many different architectural styles and in various stages of renovation. For example, the tour will feature a beautifully maintained Broad Street mansion built by a prominent Columbus family at the turn of the century, as well as a meticulously renovated 1890s Victorian that had once been divided into six separate apartments.
With Columbus’ 200th birthday being celebrated year-long with events all over the city, this event is not to be missed.
