L’Appat Patisserie Opens on Oak Street

After many months of planning and some trial and error with other locations, L’Appat Patisserie and Cafe has opened on the corner of Oak St and Champion Ave.

Didier Alapini, who grew up and studied biochemistry in Africa’s Ivory Coast, is the owner of the cafe. European, American, and African flavors come together in a variety of dishes, including salads, sandwiches, and soups.

However, it is with the desserts and pastries that Alapini shows his special skill.

As local Olde Towne East resident Margaret Ann Samuels emphatically posted on the Olde Towne East Facebook page, “[L’Appat] has the best cookies I ever ate.”

Stop by this new addition to the expanding selection of restaurants and coffee shops through Olde Towne East.

  1. Hi,
Try anything with Spinach, Pumpkin and any of the cookies! They are the best in the USA. The Chocolate desserts are ” to die for,” no pun intended. Eat in and take some food home with you for the weekend. You will be glad you did!
    Angel blesings to all.
