The annual Hot Times Festival will be held September 9-11 at Main and Parsons in the Health Department lawn. This free community arts and music festival will feature two stages, two drum circles, poetry slam, visual art projects, art cars, street fair, and kid’s activities.
Each year, the festival is kicked off on Saturday morning with the Columbus Children’s Parade. The Parade begins at Linwood (Wilson) and Bryden Rd at Kwanza Park at 11:00am and marches along Bryden Rd to end at the festival grounds.
The headlining act this year is “The Mississippi Bluesman,” Grady Champion, on Sunday evening at 6:45pm.
