I recently bought a house on the west side near Eakin & Eureka Ave’s and would like to know how to contact the local block watch to help and be helpful in protecting and takeing care of this neighborhood.
Thanks, Richard ; Symington Ave resident

Richard,
Block Watches are organized by neighborhood groups in partnership with their Community Liason Officer. According to the Columbus Police’s website, “Community Liaison Officers are specifically trained and assigned the responsibility of organizing community groups and maintaining liaison with these organizations. Telephone numbers and corresponding city maps are published to help the community in contacting the appropriate Officer. Residential and business block watch and crime alert programs are available through this function.”
You can find a map with phone numbers of the Community Liason Officer’s here: http://www.columbuspolice.org/Units/srb/CommunityLiaison2.html
Good luck!
