Central Community House is a private non-profit settlement house located at 1150 East Main Street. Since 1936, Central Community House (CCH) has maintained a “quiet tradition of caring.”
CCH offers a variety of programs designed to strengthen family, neighborhood and community life within an identified service area that includes most of the southeast quadrant of the county. CCH is the only settlement house that services this area.
CCH also has a long-standing history of partnering with the Olde Towne East Neighborhood Association (OTENA) for various programs. CCH provides shuttle buses for OTENA’s annual Tour of Homes. In turn, OTENA provides back-to-school supplies during CCH’s annual backpack drive, as well as other financial donations throughout the year.
This year, OTENA would like to congratulate CCH for 75 years of servicing the community. Join Central Community House for their 75th Anniversary Celebration on Sept. 22, 2011 at The Bluestone. There, they will also present the Village Maker Awards, honoring individuals that are making a true difference in their communities.
